My good friend BETA™ and musical partner in crime for many years is joining the tiny crew here at circumjacence.com. He’ll be starting out with reviews of a few tracks from 8bit Betty’s amazing release “too bleep to blop” on Hippocamp. Owen picked the tracks (all of which have been in HEAVY rotation on his ipod).

Leon Somov feat. Jazzu : Offline EP (Sutemos018)Posted by: Eric in CC Netlabel Playlist
I don’t have a particular set of favorite tracks reviewed yet (and thus nothing for the playlist or podcast yet). I will eventually, but in the meantime you can get ahead of me and download the EP from Sutemos at: Starting out with pure cuts and beats, 3Tronik eventually lets some pianos and string peek through, weaving a line between multiple moods and textures. Released on Sutemos.

“robot’s dream of love pt.01″ by Model APosted by: Eric in CC Netlabel Playlist, Podcast
Rhodes(ish) piano, guitar harmony, filtered beats, harmonica, spoken word samples, and vocals by Jonas Hult. This is my final review from “All Becomes Music”, but the whole release is well worth a trip to Archive.org, or to the Sutemos label’s site. |
