After reading your thoughts on it - I can relate. But, this piece did hold my interest longer then I'd expected at the onset. It's pretty ominous - the main chord progression, falling downward, is a bit repetitive, but eventually I stopped concentrating on it. The last quarter of the piece is quite compelling. Something powerful is trying to emerge from beneath the genre tradition of broken, compressed fragments of audio. A lost melody trying to unlatch the sample-n-hold restraints.
